Facilities:

Hazel Hall Nursing Home is purpose built, set in its own
secure grounds with car parking facilities and is monitored
by CCTV. It contains 42 bedrooms (42 private and 2 semi-
private rooms, 26 of which are en suite with private
telephone). Each room is equipped with flat screen cable television and call bell system?and is comfortably furnished, as part of our ongoing refurbishment programme. Residents are encouraged to bring in some items from home, such as a favourite armchair or dressing table, to make their bedroom as homely as possible.

Within the nursing home, there is an administration office, nurses' station, a multi-denominational chapel, meeting room, lounge area and foyer area, which open onto a central courtyard, a hairdressing salon, dining room, smoking room and toilet and bathroom facilities.

There is a High Dependency Unit which contains 14 bedrooms, and a bright and spacious recreation and dining area which overlooks, and has access to, the multi-sensory garden designed for those residents living with a dementia.

Access to/from the High Dependency Unit is via keypad locking system and is monitored by staff.

All access/egress points are electronically monitored and controlled and are fitted with a keypad locking system. The front door is securely closed at all times and is accessed/ egressed by an intercom system which is controlled by staff.

Dining:

All meals and snacks are nutritionally balanced and served
in the dining room or in the bedroom if tray service is
preferred. Dietetic prescription, cultural meal plans and personal preferences are planned and provided for in consultation with our experienced team of chefs, in compliance with our Food Safety Programme (HACCP).
